Day 1:
Early in the morning at 3am we had to wake up and travel to Changi Airport to Check in 2 hours in advance... *Yawnz*! I sure am sleepy... Baby's parents offer to send us there so it wasn't too bad. We check in our luggage and we went in to walk around the Boarding area. We had a light Breakfast..

That's US!

Cute Me.... (Don't PuKe!)

The only 2 pictures we had before we board the plane. Sok Sok And Monkey went there a day earlier than us. So our plans when we reach HK is to go to Sok Sok's dad house first to meet up, put down our luggage & than we'll move out together. That will be our lodging in HK for the first night too.

A brief description of our airplane. It's the 747-400 which is quite old already. And the flight safety program is demonstrated live by the air stewardess which my baby inform me that no other airline is doing it as it will all be showed on a little TV screen in front of your seat. That means we had no little TV screen in front of us but rather a projected one on the big screen in front of the wall. Another sad thing is we didn't manage to get a window seat & we have to sit in the center column & right at the first row. But it has more leg space... the only good thing out of it... lol! I drift in and out of sleep and half-watched the movie that was playing (The Guardian). Breakfast was horrible... I don't wan to talk about it... Can't wait to get off board and step into HK!

3.5 Hrs later, at 10+ we finally step down (Safety)... Everything was so new and cool and clean... pretty much like Changi Airport and if i may added maybe even better... The first thing I look for once i came out of immigration is for a lighter. They "detain" my lighter at Changi as it is not allowed on board... pretty much like pets... lol. And the price for a little cute lighter is 10HKD! Oh well, no choice...

First Step at Hong Kong International Airport!

My First Light in Hong Kong!

My BaBy on her way to the Bus Interchange!

Our View from the Interchange!

Isn't it a Plane? A320?

We began to make our way to LUEN WO HUI PLAYGROUND via Airbus A43 which is going to take us 1 hr plus.

I swear this bus is even nicer than those in S'pore!

Our stop is number 15 and the only way we know when we are there is to read the LCD Display on the top front of the bus. The 2ND to the 3RD stop is the longest around 30 Min's to reach. We sat on the bus and admire the nice view of mountain and road and the amazing bridge that links all the island of HK together. The destination is somewhere in NEW TERRITORIES near TIN SHUI WAI. It's probably 1 end from the airport to another end, very near the borders of china.

When we finally reach, we meet them and deposit our luggage and prepare to go for our first meal in HK! It's Dim Sum at a resturant nearby our lodging. The crowd is very noisy and I think HK peps like to eat and chat at the same time. We had so many food on the table and me and monkey still manage to finish them all off! *A round of applause*! Lunch was on Sok Sok's dad... Thank Uncle.

After a heavy lunch we are off to explore HK, we first went to this famous temple - WANG TAI SIN in
WANG TAI SIN by taking the Kowloon Railway. We went there to pray pray and Qiu Qian! May happiness & fortune be with us!

Up to the temple.

Sok Sok & Monkey

Me And BaBy... heh...

Some strange thing we notice is that no burning of incense and papers allow. That is to reduce air pollution which is a very serious pollution in HK. The skies look hazy everywhere. Coolz... The weather was cooling and the wind is really cold when it's blowing at us. That's what they called chilled to the bone!

We went walk walk around after that and everything was very fast-paced, kind of hard to relax in a place like HK.

Shopping around...

We basically walk and shop til evening where we end up at Central. It's a very nice place with a lot of shops and eateries... Eat, shop & Walk... Upz!

Jimmy I Found Your KitCHEn!

This is a very steep road which you don't see in S'pore.

Snapshot!

Something over there?

Basically, the mode of transport we take is their MTR and the Kowloon Railway system. Transport isn't cheap but it's fast and effective. Their waiting time for trains for 2-4 mins and was really longer than those MRT we had.

2 beauties in the MTR!

2 Yan Daoz!

After a whole day of walking, we are meeting Sok Sok's dad for dinner at a steamboat resturant - Hong Kong Style! Her dad's friend are also eating with us and on such a cold day, a steamboat is the perfect meal to end our day. Dinner was fun and we eat and chat and cook our nice slices of beef, pork, ostrich & fish. Their stock soup was fabulous and the meat tender and red and so niceeeee.... meltz in your mouth not in your hand! Night was really cold and when we return to Sok Sok's dad place and took a bath, my teeth was chattering... i had never felt this chilling before... *Ah Choo*! ... Bedroom arrangement was Baby & Sok Sok sleep on the same bed and me and Monkey on a double deck in another room. Good thinking there... heh!
